Refund & Cancellation Policy

TRADESMANEXPERT LTD, trading as TradePilot ("we", "our", or "us") — Company Number 16970808, registered in England and Wales — provides a subscription-based field service management platform. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work, and your statutory rights.

1. Your 14-day free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of TradePilot. No payment details are charged during the trial.

2. Cancelling a paid subscription

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that period ends. You will not be charged for subsequent periods.

3. Refunds

Because TradePilot is a subscription service paid in advance, we do not as a rule provide refunds for unused time in the current billing period. This is the standard model for SaaS products and is consistent with your Terms of Service.

We will issue a refund in the following cases:

Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank / card provider, they typically appear within 5–10 business days.

4. UK consumer cooling-off rights (14 days)

If you are a consumer (an individual acting outside the course of your trade, business, craft or profession) resident in the UK or EU, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel within 14 days of signing up, without giving a reason.

Note for UK trade businesses: TradePilot is designed and marketed for business use. When you sign up on behalf of a business (sole trader, limited company, or partnership), you are typically a "business customer" and the statutory 14-day cooling-off right does not apply. However the 14-day free trial gives you an equivalent opportunity to try the service before paying.

If you do qualify as a consumer and wish to exercise the right to cancel:

5. Data after cancellation

After cancellation, we retain your account data for 30 days in case you reactivate. After 30 days the data is permanently deleted from active systems. See our Privacy Policy for full retention terms.

You can export your data (customers, jobs, invoices, etc.) as CSV from Settings → Data Export before you cancel.

6. Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us at [email protected] before raising a dispute with your card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved in minutes.

Chargeback fees incurred through disputes raised without first contacting us may be re-billed to your account under our Terms of Service.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 30 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
